Lenawee County commissioners voted 6-1 on Sept. 28 to appoint Gordon Gauss, a retired auto executive and former Adrian city commissioner, to the vacancy created by the death of commissioner Jim Daly (D-Adrian). The district represents the east side of Adrian.
