ADRIAN — The Michigan Department of Transportation is scheduled to start working on changes to the intersection of Division Street and U.S. 223 on Monday, May 4.
A left turn signal is being installed for traffic coming south on Division Street and turning onto U.S. 223.
The project was approved two years ago after an MDOT traffic study concluded that a left turn signal was now warranted. A previous study, in 2018, had ended up not recommending a signal.
The target date for completion is July 2. Drivers should expect intermittent lane closures during that time.
