HUDSON TWP. — Lake Hudson Recreation Area is hosting the annual Great Outdoors Youth Jamboree on Sunday, Sept. 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  

This event is designed for families to come and participate in a multitude of activities designed to spark an interest in the outdoor world.

This year activities will include a BB gun range, archery range, fly rod casting, dog handling demonstration, and more.

There will be a food truck on site, and Department of Natural Resources professionals will be available to answer questions. A park pass is required for entry, and can be purchased at the gate. 

This event is a collaborative effort by Michigan DNR and Pheasants Forever.
