ADRIAN — Funding is available to assist low- and moderate-income Adrian homeowners with paying for home repairs.
The city of Adrian is accepting applications for assistance through the program, which is funded by a grant from the state of Michigan.
To be eligible, the property must be within the city of Adrian and the owner must live in the house.
The maximum income to qualify is:
- $47,250 for a household with one person.
- $54,000 for a household with two people.
- $60,750 for a household with three people.
- $67,450 for a household with four people.
Repairs that can be paid for using the funds may include:
- Roof repairs or replacement.
- Furnace or heating system repair.
- Electrical or plumbing repairs.
- Accessibility improvements such as ramps or grab bars.
- Structural repairs.
- Improvements to windows or insulation.
The maximum amount that each homeowner can apply for is $25,000.
