ADRIAN — Adrian police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in an attempted early-morning arson on April 14.

Police were called to Crossroads Community Church, 119 N. Broad St., that day after after it was discovered that someone had attempted to set fire to the church’s access ramp during the early morning hours. A review of surveillance footage depicted a lighter-skinned, slightly heavyset male wearing a black hoodie, gray vest, white shirt, white shorts, and black shoes. He could be seen pouring lighter fluid on the church ramp before leaving the scene on foot heading west through downtown.
