
ADRIAN — The 10th annual Gleaner Gives campaign recently donated a total of $44,807.50 to 20 charitable groups in Lenawee County. Led by employee contributions, Gleaner Life Insurance Society worked in conjunction with the Lenawee Community Foundation.
Over the past 10 years, the Gleaner Gives campaign has donated more than $675,000 to nonprofits in Lenawee County.
“The Gleaner Gives campaign reflects the generosity of our employees, whose personal contributions make this impact possible,” Gleaner president and CEO Todd Warner said in a news release. “We are proud to support the Lenawee Community Foundation and invest in the community where we live and work.”
The Lenawee Humane Society received the largest of this year’s donations, $11,543, followed by Neighbors of Hope ($7,077.50), the Joseph Wildberg Fund for Veterans ($4,380), the Catherine Cobb Safe House ($4,185), and Hospice of Lenawee ($3,573).
