Sieler-Zych, Chesher, Moore elected to city commission

ADRIAN — There will be three new faces on the Adrian City Commission, as Tiffany Sieler-Zych, Aaron Chesher, and Chip Moore were the leading vote-getters in the Nov. 4 election.

Sieler-Zych led the totals with 2,190 votes in unofficial returns, and Chesher had 1,648 votes.

It was a tighter race for the third seat, with less than 100 votes separating three contenders. Moore had 1,106 votes; James Trull had 1,063; and incumbent Doug Miller had 1,029.

Incumbent commissioner Gordon Gauss had 859 votes.

There were 37 write-ins.

Mayor Angela Sword Heath, who was unopposed for re-election, received 2,607 votes and there were 101 write-ins for mayor.

Vote totals are unofficial until confirmed by the Lenawee County Board of Canvassers.
