ADRIAN — The Adrian girls swim team racked up a pair of wins during a double dual meet at Coldwater on Sept. 1, competing against Coldwater and Portage North.

The Maples outscored Coldwater 102-72, and Portage North by 101-78.

Abby Meyers posted a state-qualifying time in the 100-yard freestyle, and three swimmers had individual first-place finishes: Allison Marks in the 50-yard freestyle, Meyers in the 100-yard freestyle, and Michele Coy in the 100-yard backstroke.

In addition, first-place finishes were won by the 200-yard medley relay team of Meyers, Marks, Coy, and Lexi Fox; the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Meyers, Marks, Izzy Stutzman, and Hailey Gallant; and the 400-yard freestyle relay team of Coy, Fox, Gallant, and Stutzman.
