Annual native plant sale set for May 29 in Tecumseh

TECUMSEH — The River Raisin Watershed Council will host its second annual native plant sale on Friday, May 29, at 804 N. Evans St., Tecumseh.

Early-bird entry is offered for $5 from 2 to 3 p.m., then free admission runs from 3 to 7:30 p.m.

The native plant sale is intended to include everything gardeners need to create a thriving, sustainable landscape with plants native to this region.

Plant vendors will include Feral Flora, Windy Rock Farm, and Liv’s Native Nursery. Master Gardeners from the Little Garden Club of Tecumseh will be available to answer questions and offer guidance on species selection.

The event will also include kids’ activities.
