The City of Adrian Utilities Department will begin flushing hydrants on Monday, Oct. 14.

According to city administrator Greg Elliott’s weekly newsletter, most of the flushing will occur between the hours of 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. to minimize inconvenience to residents. However, residents are advised to check the color of the water in their homes before washing white clothes. If you experience rusty water, run your cold water for a short time to clear your lines.
