In the area covered by the 34th House District, about 9,500 votes were cast in the U.S. Senate race between Abdul El-Sayed and Haley Stevens. The write-in votes for the 34th House District totaled 1,645 \u2014 and even though it won&#8217;t be known until the votes are canvassed how many of those were for Dahlgren, that represents more than three times the needed number, and no one else was actively seeking write-in votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 34th House District seat is currently held by Nancy Jenkins-Arno (R-Dover Township), who was unopposed in the Republican primary.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>John Dahlgren appears likely to have received enough votes in the Democratic
